My New Year's Resolution? Be less self-destructive, and more creative.

... And less redundant. Oy.

I'm re-upping most of, if not all of the ancient stuff that I'd pulled down two years ago in an embarrassing fit of... of... what the hell was it? Oh, yeah, depression. Deciding I wasn't going to be a real artist. Pfft. What kind of crap was I on?

Okay. Here's my little soapboxy moment. All creativity is as real as you wish it to be. If you made it out of some kind of feeling, it's genuine.

I'm not saying my stuff is necessarily so shiny, or that I'm going to flood Updates with every head scribble from Age 12 onward out of some misguided effort to "inspire" others. Ick, hell no. But the thought just hit me after watching a bunch of seriously talented, wonderful people leave x venue for y reason. We all suffer with our depressions (unless, uh, we don't), and I guess in that, we all have some common ground regardless of skills or experience. It always blows the rabbit, and I, for one, wish there were more ways to help others get around it.

Coming to the point now, really: If you're out there, and reading this, even if you've just randomly surfed in? You, yes you, are most likely very awesome, you have wonderful gifts, and I love you, dudes.
